Earl John Cadwell (January 21, 1893 - June 13, 1963) was the vice president of the Monarch Insurance Company of Springfield, Massachusetts and an Army veteran of World War I. He was born on January 21, 1893 in Elmwood, West Hartford, Connecticut to John P. Cadwell and Emma Salisbury. After serving in World War I in the United States Army, he married Marion Heath on December 17, 1921. The couple had one child, a daughter. He served as vice president of the Monarch Insurance Company of Springfield, Massachusetts until he retired in 1958, moving to Clinton, Connecticut with his wife on Waterside Lane, down the street from his brother-in-law, Wallace B. Goodwin.

On June 13, 1963, he died after a short illness at the age of 70 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in New London, Connecticut. He was buried in Indian River Cemetery.
