John Washington (1692-1746) was a resident of the Colony of Virginia and an uncle of the first President of the United States, George Washington.
Washington was born in 1692 at Bridges Creek, Virginia, as the son of Lawrence Washington and Mildred Warner. After his marriage in 1716, he settled in Gloucester County, where he worked as a farmer until his death in 1746.
